Roberts Lake Videos

Roberts Lake Location

Beautiful day on the Lake, this video was taken from the boat launch on the west side of the lake and aimed towards the property on the North East.

Row Row Row the Boat

A.W.S. President Dan Bauer rows the boat while his wife Judy films the inside of the Roberts Lake cove. A great way to spend the day.

Around the Cove

Our hardest working volunteer Judy Bauer works her way around the shoreline. Her commentary as she blazes her trail is very funny.

Some Wildlife Videos

Coffee with the Orca

Enjoying our morning coffee on our patio when this pod of Orca wandered by. Forgive the mainlander talking about the Orca like he actually knew something about them.

Off to See the Whales

No whales in this particular video but it's a blast just getting to where they are. Thank You!

Saving Valentina

One of the most moving wildlife videos we've ever come across while surfing the internet. An incredible ordeal capped with a magnificent ending
Must see video!

Media Videos

MLA - Michelle Stilwell

Our friend Michelle before she became the BC Liberal MLA for Parksville-Qualicum. This is her at a AWS fundraising event in Victoria talking about herself and our project. Apologys for the poor audio.

Great Relationship

The A.W.S. is very proud of our continued relationship with Community Futures British Columbia and in particular the Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Program. We look forward to our future in part because of them.

Got 28 minutes?

If you have 28 minutes to spare then this video is for you. Watch it full screen and sit back and enjoy the 28 sports in 28 minutes video from Jeff Rosenbluth.

You Can Help

The Accessible Wilderness Society is for "Every-Body" so it stands to reason it will take "Everyone" to help make it happen. The AWS needs volunteers who are willing to act as advisors or possibly to become a Board of Direct in order to share their expertise as this Project moves forward. If you have experience in any of the following areas or if you share our passion then we'd love to hear from you.

  • General Contracting
  • Marketing
  • Grant Writing
  • Fundraising
  • Media
  • Legal/Accounting
